Van & Light Commercial Vehicle Recovery
We assess vans and light commercial vehicles for recovery and transport using their actual loaded weight, height, length, width and condition. An empty van and a loaded van of the same model can require different arrangements.
Van recovery starts with loaded weight
Tell us what’s on board
Provide the make and model, approximate loaded weight and any cargo, roof racks or equipment that affect height, dimensions or weight distribution. Tell us if the van is a long-wheelbase or high-roof model.
Check the route and pickup site
Share details of height barriers, tight turns, slopes or limited space. We confirm safe loading and attachment, equipment suitability, gross and axle weights, and legal or permit requirements before accepting the job.
Before you call
Common questions.
Does a 7.5-tonne truck carry a 7.5-tonne van?
No. The 7.5-tonne figure is the recovery truck’s gross vehicle weight rating. It does not represent payload or towing capacity.
Can you take a loaded van?
That depends on the confirmed weight, dimensions, load distribution and site access. Describe the load before we assess the move.
